We took inspiration from the colorful world of pastries to experiment with ceramics at Gorbon - working closely with the dedicated team of artisans and craftsmen, resulting in a variety of new forming techniques, unique handmade textures, and playful shapes such as donuts, biscuits, and eclairs in soft & inviting pastel tones to create a collection of bespoke ceramics with the irresistible allure of pastries.

Au salon maisonetobjet l’espace de elizabeth_leriche qui décrypte tjrs à merveille les tendances s’intitule « pattern factory » : l’idée qu’on peut (et même qu’on doit) mélanger les motifs, les imprimés, les styles, les couleurs, les matières… non seulement car ce mix&match fonctionne très bien mais surtout car il donne bcp de force à un intérieur. Le motif apporte tout de suite une dimension hypnotique et optimiste, Elizabeth dit même que « au-delà d`embellir nos maisons, il transporte nos esprits et suscite des émotions ». On aurait tort de s’en priver non ?

"Envol vers la complétude" Frêne, Loupe d`érable Guitté - H 50 cm
Sculpture en cours de travail
Depuis plusieurs mois je réfléchi à associer mes deux démarches, les "Empreintes" et les "Chimères", faire se rejoindre Corps et Esprit dans une même expression. Voilà le premier opus, le corps et l`esprit se rejoignent dans une symbolique d`accomplissement de l`être, un envol vers l`unité dans la lumière de l`Être Divin...
Aujourd`hui, je vais réaliser les inclusions d`étain dans ce superbe morceau de loupe d`érable guitté, tout en vous accueillant pour visiter mon atelier/galerie.
Jusqu`au dimanche 1er octobre 2023, l`atelier-galerie sera ouvert les samedi et dimanche après midi entre 14h et 18h ... et les autres jours, uniquement sur rendez-vous. 😊
Donc, je suis ouvert cet après-midi, et demain.... à bientôt...

👏 THANK YOU, ONE AND ALL! The winter edition of Maison&Objet had the decoration, design and lifestyle world buzzing with excitement! From incredible installations to a remarkably diverse selection of exhibitors, plenty of inspiration and exciting new discoveries, our January 2023 rendez-vous was a complete success!
This edition marked a significant return of international visitors with 44% of the 67 429 visitors coming from abroad, with 144 countries represented. They were lucky enough to meet 2 337 brands, of which 518 were new exhibitors. The conclusion is crystal clear: the sector is thriving and the business environment is growing more dynamic by the minute!
We want to thank all exhibitors and visitors for attending and making the latest #maisonetobjet fair such a success! We look forward to welcoming you again for the next edition of the fair from September 7-11 2023. And until then… TAKE CARE and stay tuned for a lot of exciting things!

Depuis plusieurs mois je réfléchi à associer mes deux démarches, les "Empreintes" et les "Chimères", faire se rejoindre Corps et Esprit dans une même expression. Voilà le premier opus, le corps et l`esprit se rejoignent dans une symbolique d`accomplissement de l`être, un envol vers l`unité dans la lumière de l`Être Divin... et alors que je fini aujourd`hui de créer cette sculpture : "Envol vers la complétude" ... triste hasard ou synchronicité ? Ce matin l`esprit d`Azur, ma vieille petite chienne de 17 ans, a quitté son corps, a rejoint les anges.... 😥
Et à travers mes larmes je vois, tout droit sorti de l`inconscient, un autre sens dans ma sculpture, un sens plus complet, cet esprit chevillé au corps par la naissance, est bien le lien au divin, à l`éternité. Et cette cheville, il est si facile de la retirer, et ainsi de libérer ce lien entre corps et esprit. Pourtant, certainement, ils sont lié en deçà et au delà des moments de vie, des vies de formes différentes... La goutte rejoint la mer, l`esprit rejoint l`éternité, la mer émet des gouttes, l`éternité des esprits.... ensemble, ils s`incarnent et se désincarnent, se perdent, se retrouvent...
Peut-être que tout n`est qu`une danse éternelle...?
