What does the future look like?

Well, of course, I have no idea. But for 2023, I`ve made PLANS. A big year, I hope!

Let`s start with "Natural Motion/Stop the World" my first SOLO SHOW(!) in Bath, Maine, at the Chocolate Church Art Center, from June 2nd to August 12th. I`m so excited to be able to spread my wings in the greater New England area. This is a beautiful gallery in a great town. I can`t wait see my paintings here! More as the date gets closer.

Then, in September, I`ll be a part of the Superfine Art Fair in NYC for the weekend of September 14th-17th. Get ready New York! I`m excited to come home to show my animals and my frozen landscapes.

I`ve scheduled a full calendar with teaching, PopUps, Open Studios, and group shows throughout the year. As these are confirmed, they`ll be on my website. I don`t know if I`ll sit down from April to October!

In between painting and scheduling, I`m writing grants to get to Greenland (note painting above) - one of these days I`ll get there! Until then, I`ll keep working on my series of paintings based on photos taken from flying over that magnificent icescape.

Finally, I`m branching out into other animal paintings (newest one below - first version already sold, working on more now!) - here you have flamingos in the Miami Zoo that were brought into the bathroom to keep them safe during Hurricane Ian. Animals that are in unusual places or inspired by other scenarios (what IF the penguins were brought to the MFA, or the Guggenheim?)

A quick note on pricing - the animal paintings` prices will be changing. As I`ve done a few pieces in different sizes, I`ll be charging more for the larger pieces. No changes until January 1st but then some will go up another $10 or $20 dollars based on their size. If you want one and it is out of stock, contact me before January 1st, and I will make sure to charge you the lower price, even if I haven
