Now available to see during designmiami week is this all-pink IRL takeover by reisingerandres.

For his first-ever physical installation, Reisinger will stage a takeover of a building within the Miami Design District, taking his ballooning pink fabric to create a striking sculptural intervention.

Pink is a recurring colour in Reisinger’s work; it was the shade of the virtual take overs, and will be replicated in its physical version in Miami. ‘Pink is infused with implications that go far beyond aesthetics; it is an exploration into human experiences and participation, a symbol embodying layers of meaning, both personal and universal,’ he explains.

To see this iconic installation IRL, head to the address below before the 10th December:

BOO Glacier designed by Henry Baumann.
.

Year : 2023
Materials : Resin with Matte Finish, Brass Feet.
Colours : Available in one Colour or Multicolour.
Size : H19" W12" D12"
( H49 W30 D30 cm )

Henry’s objects arise from curiosity about a material and manufacturing process that he manipulates and which develops through reproduction, mutation and selection. Chance plays an important role in the creation process. The Artist is fascinated by manufacturing processes in which he provides a setting for the creation of a product, but the actual form then arises by chance or with the help of nature. Every object is in evolution.

Each stool from this series consists of 6 bubbles. Henry is guiding the shape, but the exact shape is, because of the manufacturing process, given by coincidence. Each piece is a one-off. henry_baumann #aybargallery #limitededition #oneofakind #art #artcollectors #designcollectors #collectible #collectibledesign #miami #miamidesigndistrict #usa #artbasel #artbaselmiami #artgallery #design #museum #collectors #gallery #unique #exclusive #designmiami #sculpture #contemporaryart #artwork #nyc #designgallery #resin

From October 16–23, 2023, prolific French designer, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, in tandem with NYC gallery Demisch Danant, will present a selection of works from Made In Situ, a Paris and Lisbon-based project that advocates for a practice rooted in a given territory, exploring its materials, artisans, craftsmanship and cultural vernacular.

A dynamic examination of the exchange between person and place, Made In Situ is a series of cross-disciplinary works in conversation with nature, feeling, and materiality. For five years, Duchaufour-Lawrance has been living and working between Lisbon and Paris, developing these poetically site-specific collections alongside local artisans and craftspeople. His collections serve as testaments to time spent truly discovering a place, its people, and their history. Inscribed and contextualized, the creations that make up its collections are considered and, hence, more conscious. Each of them does not just tell the story of a place and its inhabitants, it expresses what unites them.

On view will be works from the collections Barro Negro, Bronze & Beeswax, and Chêne & Liège.

The presentation will echo Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance’s participation in Design Miami/ Paris’ Design at Large exhibition program, presented with Demisch Danant, where the designer will present a selection from his Azulejos and Burnt Cork collections.
